The evil Galactic Regiment has taken over Ren's planet, and there aren't enough gruel rations to distract him from his boring life. Until his freedom-loving treasure hunter parents drag him along on a hunt, and he finds something that will change his whole life forever. His robot companion tells him it's something called a... "video? game?" where you play as old west cowboys and loot for gold on a planet called... "Earth?". But he is soon to find out that The Creator of the game didn't just make it for fun - she froze time on Earth and now the race is on to get back there before the Galactic Governor. Adventure? Excitement? A true space cowboy craves not these things. But “Freedom and Gold”? Ahh, now those are two things worth investing in! If you like Star Wars OT, Red Dead Redemption II, 1984, Firefly, and other western sci-fi anti-robot propaganda, you'll love this play!
