When Mona Holden's husband dies suddenly and unexpectedly, her two daughters return home to join their Mom and their brother for his funeral services. In the week that follows, Mona shares her previously untold life experiences and offers sage advice to her under-achieving but overly presumptive son, Richard, her rebellious and resentful middle daughter, Anne and her youngest daughter, Sharon, on the verge of a divorce.
