IN
MEMORIAM
NAVIN R. JOHNSON
2003-2006

Ode
To Navin
Oh
Fierce Piscatorial Warrior,
Oh
Aquatic God Of Mirth,
Your
Color And Your Majesty,
No
Longer Swim On Earth.
Yon
Heavens Call You From Your Sea,
Your
Bowl Is Empty Now.
A
Theatre Fish To The End,
You’ve
Swum Your Final Bow.
Oh
Let Us Sing Of The Deaths Of Kings,
Of
Heroes, What You Wish;
But
Hold One Song, And Sing It Strong,
Of Navin, The Hillcrest Fish.
-Mark Reyes
A
mere teenager in the fish world, Navin lived a life full of happiness,
food, and creative backdrops supplied by his loving caretaker,
Ms. Shmu De Savia of the Hillcrest Box Office. Let him dream of mermaids,
grassy knolls and Heather Locklier.
Goodbye
Sweet Navin.

OTTO BUCHANAN
2003-2005

To all Cultural Unit personnel, family and friends,
It
is with deep sadness that I inform you of the passing of someone near
and dear to HCFA staff; Otto The Fish.
He
passed away quietly into the eternal sea this weekend. Although he is
missed,
his spirit will swim on in the aquarium of our memories; His flick of the
tail,
his little bubbles as he laughed.
Scott
Buchanan presided over a quick ceremony, noting that; "Otto was a very
private fish.
He would not want a gathering of mourners."
Otto is survived by the Box Office fish, and a can of Tuna that has been in the refrigerator for 3 weeks.
Genesis 9….. "And all the fish of the sea shall be delivered into your hand"
-Mark Reyes
IT SADDENED ME TO HEAR ABOUT OTTO,
NO LONGER WILL HE SWIM IN HIS WATERY GROTTO,
AND ALTHOUGH HE WILL BE "MISHED",
DON'T THINK OF HIM AS JUST ANOTHER FISH,
BRINGING SMILES TO HILLCREST CENTER WAS HIS MOTTO...............
I hope this helps and God bless us one and all..........!
