Bigger, Louder, Faster Shakespeare would like to apologize for any offense caused by the marketing phrase "This Isn't Your English Teacher's Shakespeare! (Unless your English Teacher was awesome... in which case, that's exactly what this is!)" We hope and believe that the vast majority of English Teachers fall in to the "awesome" category. We chose to play on an old and tired stereotype in an attempt to pique the interest of those who hold fiercely the belief that Shakespeare is boring, hard to understand, or written in a foreign language. Clearly, our variation was not as effective as we had hoped, and for that we are truly sorry. If you are an English Teach who is willing to give us a second chance by bringing a group of students or fellow teachers, please contact Megan McDonough.
