Booking Priority is given to Non-Profit Arts Council of the Conejo Valley Member Organization Activities. Please review the categories below to determine which rates apply to your group.

Room booking at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts includes use of the room and requested chairs and tables. Groups need to set up and clean up their own activity unless they order exclusive staff assistance. Basic staff assistance costs $15 per hour for the duration of the event (2 hour minimum.) Evening and weekend staff monitoring the facility are available to assist your group with extra chairs, tables, or other needs with out additional charge.

For Non-Profit Arts and Cultural Organizations that are members of the Arts Council of the Conejo Valley ($50.00 Annual Membership  Fee for Fiscal Year 09-10 it is valid until 6/30/10):

     Small Rehearsal Room
$16.80* per hour
     Large Rehearsal Room
$22.80* per hour
     Theatre on the Hill (Hourly Use)  
$28.80*   per hour

* All hourly rates include a mandatory $4.80 per hour Insurance Fee Subsidy.

For In District, Non-ACCV Member Organization (YMCA Etc) Fund Raising Activities and Closed Membership Meetings.  MUST PROVIDE INSURANCE (Click here for Insurance Requirements):
     Small Rehearsal the rate is  $18.00 per hour
     Large Rehearsal Room the rate is
$27.00 per hour
     Theatre on the Hill (Hourly Use) the rate is 
$36.00 per hour

For In District, Private Individual Use for Parties Weddings Etc..  MUST PROVIDE INSURANCE (Click here for Insurance Requirements):
     Small Rehearsal the rate is  $24.00 per hour
     Large Rehearsal Room the rate is 
$36.00 per hour
     Theatre on the Hill (Hourly Use) the rate is 
$48.00 per hour

For In-District Commercial Use the Fees are MUST PROVIDE INSURANCE (Click here for Insurance Requirements):
     Small Rehearsal the rate is
$24.00 per hour plus up to 25% of Gross Receipts
     Large Rehearsal Room the rate is
$36.00per hour plus up to 25% of Gross Receipts
     Theatre on the Hill (Hourly Use) the rate is
$48.00 per hour plus up to 25% of Gross Receipts

For Out-of-District Commercial Use & Private Parties the Fees are MUST PROVIDE INSURANCE (Click here for Insurance Requirements):
     Small Rehearsal the rate is 
$36.00per hour plus up to 25% of Gross Receipts
     Large Rehearsal Room the rate is
$54.00per hour plus up to 25% of Gross Receipts
     Theatre on the Hill (Non-Performance) the rate is
$72.00 per hour plus up to 25% of Gross Receipts

Other Fees:
     Application Fee:
$10.00 per application.
     Change Fee: $5.00 per change
     Refundable Security and Cleaning Deposit: $100.00
     Late Exit Fee: In addition to the hourly rental rate $25.00 per each quarter hour late in exiting the facility.
     Custodian: $15.00 per hour
     Stage Worker I: $15.00 per hour
     Stage Worker II: $17.00 per hour
     Ushers: $15.00 per hour

 

HILLCREST CENTER FOR THE ARTS FACILITY RESERVATION FORMS

In order to reserve space the applicant must complete 4 Reservation Forms (With a 5th, Multi-Date Form Optional.) These forms are are provided below in a PDF format that can be viewed, printed, filled out and then faxed or mailed to our office. Our FAX Number is (805) 370-1341. Our Mailing Address is: Hillcrest Center for the Arts - 403 West Hillcrest Drive - Thousand Oaks, CA 91360. You may also stop by Office or call during business hours to have forms mailed or Faxed to you. We will also accept scanned and emailed forms. Email them to sbuchanan@crpd.org.
